To shorten the wait for the Biennale für aktuelle Fotografie 2022, we have asked, in collaboration with Leica Camera Deutschland, seven photographers from previous Biennale editions to take a picture inspired by the theme of "waiting" with an analogue camera. The selected motifs and the stories behind them were gradually presented on the Leica Camera Blog (in German) from now on. In December 2021, you could also find the "waiting" images displayed as posters in the city centres of Mannheim, Ludwigshafen and Heidelberg. The following artists were involved: Jean-Marc Caimi and Valentina Piccinni, Andreas Langfeld, Patrick Pound, Peter Puklus, Sebastian Riemer and Daniel Stier.
